I usually avoid jam due to the high sugar content but after doing some research I’ve found the perfect healthy jam recipe!
This jam is great for drizzling onto flapjacks, smoothie bowls and even over an ice cream treat!
Ingredients & Method:
- 2 cups mixed berries (if frozen, thaw completely)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp vanilla paste or vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp honey (preferably raw)
- 2 tbsp hot water
Blend all together in a high speed blender or food processor until smoothie. Store in a air tight glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
