Raw Snicker Bars

This is the ultimate snicker bar!!

Here’s why… they are sugar & gluten free, easy to make and just so damn delicious!!

Ingredients & Method:

First Layer

  • 60 g almond flour
  • 4 big tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (I used Vanilla Herbalife PDM)
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup

Mix above ingredients in a food processor. Like a small loaf tin with baking paper and scoop mixture into tin. Smooth and freeze for 1 hour.

Second Layer

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (add more or less as desired)

Spread peanut butter over the top of the first layer and sprinkle chopped peanuts, pressing down gently. Place back into freezer for 1 hour.

Third Layer

  • 150g dark chocolate (85% Cocoa)
  • 1tbsp coconut oil

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl over some water, allowing the water to simmer without the bowl touching the water. Slice the frozen mixture into bars or mini bite sized pieces and dip into chocolate making sure you cover the entire piece. Place onto a baking tray with baking paper and place back into the freezer.

Recommend freezing for this is over night.
