Warms bowls & blankets 🥣 Keeping snug with this $Warms bowls & blankets 🥣 Keeping snug with this pear & sorghum porridge 🍐 1 cup @therefillerysa red sorghum 2 cups of water / nut milk. Stewed Pears ~ 1 pear, sliced or chopped 1 tsp vanilla powder 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey 1/2 cup water 1 tbsp @yokos_za coconut yogurt / plain yoghurt & cinnamon {optional} Add 2 cups of water / nut milk and sorghum to a pot and bring to a boil. Turn down to simmer for 40 - 50 minutes or until soft. In a small sauce pan add the sliced pear, maple syrup, vanilla powder and 1/4 cup water and cover for 25 - 30 minutes. Serve the sorghum porridge in a bowl and top with poached pears with syrup & yoghurt 🥄 Keep warm, loves #lwl #winterdays #porridge #coffeetime ❄️ . . . .$

We made pineapple tepache and it is AMAZING ~ than $We made pineapple tepache and it is AMAZING ~ thanks @brad_leone ✌🏼 . Tepache is similar to kombucha with a sweet / sour fizzy taste and is fermented with ginger + chilly which gives it such a refreshing flavour full of probiotics! 750ml Serving ~ 1 x pineapple, chopped with skin {remove top and bottom} 1/2 cup organic brown sugar 1 x thumb ginger, sliced {do not peel} 1 x chilly, sliced with seeds 650ml - 700ml Filtered water. Add the pineapple + ginger + sugar + chilly to a good quality glass jar or bottle and add a splash of filtered water. Shake well & top up with the remaining filtered water leaving a 3-4 cm gap at the top ~ this allows for some “breathing” space. Leave for 3-5 days {depending on where you are in the world and what season it is} & open the lid 1-2 times a day to release the natural gas. Once fermented, strain using a sieve and a cheese cloth and add to smaller good quality airtight bottles for a second fermentation for another 3 days. You can use the left over pineapple/ginger mix for a new batch just add half the amount of organic brown sugar from your first batch. Garnish with mint / pineapple and add a squeeze of lime…If you are feeling a little #extra add a shot of tequila to the mix and get the party started #salud #pretendingitssummer 🍍 . . . .$
